Popeye is around 12 months old, now, and weighs around 35 pounds.  We think that he is probably a black cocker/dachsie/lab (and this is debatable! lol). He is very playful, and has a lot of puppy energy left in him.  He loves kids, gets along with cats, and loves to play with other dogs.  He is VERY submissive, both with humans and other dogs.  He is housetrained (with a doggie door), very intelligent, and loves to ride in a car.  He's being trained (as all of my dogs are) using a clicker, and knows sit, walks on loose lead, and LOVES to dig in (and out of) the yard (hence the dirt on his nose).  His coat is beautiful, very glossy and wavey.  

Popeye was dumped in the middle of town, when he still had his milk teeth.  Very sweet boy... my dogs just love playing with him!  He and Rody have become fast friends, and he and Cis and Rody all romp together.

Popeye makes 5, and that's my limit!! lol
